As a Team Leader, you’ll play a pivotal role in transforming lives by delivering high-quality services that empower our service users to reach their full potential. Our 24-hour supported living services cater to three individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs, helping them live independently in their own homes. Here, we create a nurturing environment tailored to each person’s unique communication, mobility, and health needs.
We believe in fostering positive family relationships and providing a strong support network. Your role will focus on person-centered care, engaging in activities like shopping, budgeting, and cooking, while ensuring the well-being of our service users and maintaining connections with their families and friends.
Your Responsibilities
As a Team Leader, you and your team will:
* Develop flexible and realistic support plans and risk assessments in collaboration with service users, their families, and other professionals.
* Review support plans and risk assessments regularly.
* Liaise with health professionals and chair various meetings.
* Conduct Mental Capacity Assessments and hold Best Interest meetings.
* Complete DoLS applications to ensure compliance and best practices.
Are You the Ideal Candidate?
We’re looking for adaptable Team Leaders who thrive in dynamic environments. You should be ready to:
* Lead a team of Support Workers, allocating tasks and managing performance.
* Oversee rotas, sickness, supervisions, and appraisals.
* Coach and mentor your team to foster growth and development.
Strong communication skills are essential, as you’ll need to connect with diverse audiences. Experience in the care sector, particularly with individuals who have learning disabilities or health issues, is preferred. We’re committed to your growth and will provide a comprehensive training and development package to support you in your role.
