We are supporting a global consulting group's award-winning cyber security practice in the hiring of a Director specialising in Identity & Access Management (IAM) advising into the UK Financial Services sector.
Working on a hybrid-basis, the role, team and clients are London-centric - and will pay c£200,000 basic plus extra cash benefits, annual bonuses and broad benefits.
Our client's cyber security services are defined within three capability groups:
* Cyber Risk, Resilience and Privacy
* Identity and Access Management (IAM) and cloud security
* Cyber Threat Management
They provide cyber security services to clients across three coverage groups:
* Financial Services
* Sectors
* Infrastructure, Government and Health
A key emphasis of the role will be leading the delivery of IAM engagements to clients and contributing to the leadership of the IAM capability.
The Director role will be responsible for the following areas:
* Lead the development of an IAM strategy for the FS sector in collaboration with the FS cyber security leadership, IAM capability, and alliance partners, including defining vision, objectives, and overseeing implementation.
* Expand our current footprint to meet market demand and client issues, exploring adjacent opportunities.
* Build relationships with other parts of the firm, such as IAM leads in other coverage groups and Technology Risk, to integrate offerings.
* Lead relationships with IAM alliance partners (e.g., SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta) to foster collaboration and sales opportunities.
* Collaborate with IAM capability leadership on people management to support strategic success.
* Innovate and shape the future of IAM through services and tools aligned with business transformation efforts.
* Develop internal and external relationships, building a pipeline of opportunities and client engagements.
* Define staffing needs (skills, experience) and lead recruitment efforts.
Reporting to the Lead Cyber Security Partner for FS, the role involves:
* Delivering FS IAM engagements and managing multiple projects with team support.
* Growing IAM services within the FS sector.
* Leading sales and business development initiatives, contributing to the broader Cyber Security leadership.
* Identifying growth opportunities within FS and developing strategies to leverage cyber security risks.
* Building and maintaining relationships with senior FS executives (CIO, CRO, COO, CISO, Head of Technology).
The person
* Experience working in the Financial Services sector, including with large, global organizations.
* Experience as an IAM Lead and Consultant at senior levels.
* Broad industry exposure with deep technical knowledge in IAM.
* Proven success in leading, managing, and delivering cyber security advisory and assurance services to large/medium clients.
* Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical issues to non-technical audiences, with relevant sales, negotiation, and project management experience.
* Understanding of risk management in a professional services context.
