Overview
Deliver solutions for customers by understanding their needs & applications, developing and recommending appropriate products, providing proof of performance data, and offering insightful advice for technical & industry related questions. This is a professional role and typically a supportive role to more experienced technologists or specialists.
This role is located in our UK office, based in Bracknell. The role will be office based (full time) and will require some overseas travel.
Responsibilities
1. Develop understanding of Afton’s product line chemistry and claims.
2. Begin to develop deep understanding of industry test requirements, customer test requirements and associated specifications and how those tests can be influenced by Afton chemistry.
3. Support the management of projects.
4. Assist in providing proactive customer specific solutions, support, and guidance.
5. Develop and may deliver presentations to internal and external customers.
6. May investigate and resolve routine customer concerns under supervision of CTS Manager or colleagues.
7. Assist CTS colleagues in the completion of required approval documentation and technical reports.
8. Interface with CTS, R&D, OEM, Sales and Marketing to gain an understanding of current and future market trends, requirements, and applications.
9. Interface with Marketing and Sales to ensure aligned customer account management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
Demonstrated aptitude for the CTS function.
