About the role:

Our Deals Tax team collaborates with our Deals practice to advise on tax implications of transactions, including Mergers & Acquisitions, Business Recovery Services, and Real Assets and Credit. As part of the Corporate Tax network, we work across specialisms to drive value and assist clients at all deal stages.

We seek Senior Managers for our national Deals Tax practice, ensuring top experts reach our clients and offering diverse opportunities for our team. With an international client base, we leverage our strong network.

What your days will look like:
1. Work in a team to deliver bespoke tax advice and implications in a fast-paced and evolving deals market
2. Play a key role in developing relationships with clients and junior members of the team
3. Seek specialist input from other parts of tax and wider network - in particular Transaction Service and non-UK teams
4. Be actively involved in business development activities, helping to identify and research opportunities with new and existing clients
5. Use technical knowledge and commercial awareness to help solve important problems for our clients
6. Take responsibility for developing your own and the team's technical and business acumen; keeping up to date with business and economic issues, industry insights and sharing your experience and technical knowledge as part of a team.


This role is for you if:

7. Must possess Chartered Accountant (ACCA, ICAEW, ICAS, CAI) or Chartered Tax Advisor (ATT, CTA) or equivalent international qualification
8. Ability to build internal and external relationships and networks, both within the UK and overseas
9. Developed communication skills, specifically in negotiating with and influencing others
10. Strong analytical, project management and report writing skills.
11. An inquisitive mind and ability to solve problems as part of a diverse team
12. Ability to use tax technical knowledge & insights in a fast paced commercial environment
