As a Trainee Optical Assistant at Specsavers, you’ll be the friendly face at the heart of our stores working among a team of experienced professionals, delivering unmatched customer service every single day.

What we’re looking for?
If this is still sounding like a bit of you, we do need you to have a few skills to get started as a Trainee Optical Retailer. These include:
* Passion for providing excellent customer service and making customers’ lives easier
* Great teamwork
* A good initiative
* Confidence in using IT systems
* Excellent communication and listening skills
* Prepared to step out of your comfort zone and try something new
* Able to receive feedback and be open to development, knowing we’ll be there to support and guide you throughout your process (with your openness and our guidance, your opportunities will be endless).
Some of the responsibilities of this role include:
* Welcoming customers into store
* Booking in eye tests
* Pre-screening patients
* Providing style advice
* Measuring frames
* Taking phone call
