What awaits you?
* Provide hands-on technical support to resolve quality, efficiency, and complex problems.
* Demonstrate competence in fault finding on electrical systems, interrogate electrical schematics, and cable references.
* Proactively identify potential malfunctions to ensure customer quality and reduce equipment downtime, remedying issues before they occur.
* Minimize impact on production demand by managing and reducing non-conforming materials, ensuring maintenance and facility target achievement.
* Apply mechanical understanding for fault diagnosis, setup, referencing, and gauge system maintenance.
* Identify and rectify faults with machinery, equipment, and processes efficiently to ensure problem resolution.
* Use Health and Safety systems and equipment to record breakdowns, complete material searches, and process warranty returns.
What should you bring along?
* Qualified to NVQ 3 or equivalent in an electrical discipline.
* Minimum of a technical apprenticeship in electrical or electrical and mechanical disciplines.
* Experience in production maintenance repairs or knowledge of manufacturing process optimizations.
* Ideally experienced in an automotive manufacturing environment.
* Basic mechanical knowledge; familiarity with high-volume production machinery is preferred.
* Knowledge of machinery, technical/electrical/mechanical systems, PSS, and SAP data recording is advantageous.
