About the role:We are looking for an In-Store Visual Merchandiser to join our VM Field Team, based in and responsible for the following stores:(LONDON) OXFORD STREET & WESTFIELD WHITE CITY - CHILDRENSWEARAs an In-Store Visual Merchandiser you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a visually inspiring shopping environment for the NEXT customer focusing specifically on Childrenswear. You will implement Head Office VM Guidelines to a high level, supporting and developing store teams along the way. We are looking for someone with a creative eye and the ability to adapt layout guidelines to individual store needs and differing stock packages, whilst maintaining company standards. Main Tasks:Managing Store Layoutsâ To deliver the best visual merchandising standards at all times, within your designated stores.â Adapting the layouts to suit individual store layouts and stock package.â Ensure fixtures / layouts & customer navigation are maintained.â Analyse space management and best sellers to support layout decisions.â Planning & communicating phase changes onto store planograms.â Supporting phase change shifts in your designated stores.â Ensuring all marketing, graphics & props are correct and relevant.Stock Managementâ Supporting store compliance reports. Daily New Lines, Range Plans etc.â Ensuring stock rotation and replenishment to maximise sales.â To maintain a safe working environment for customers and colleagues by complying to store guidelines.Communicationâ Working alongside & forging good working relationships with the in-store staff & managers.â Agreeing priorities on a regular basis with the Regional Manager and store manager.â Feeding back phase / stock issues to line managers and the mock shop teams.â Working in conjunction with the in store display team.â Controlling, managing and ordering marketing items where necessary.â Attend Head Office monthly for phase change updates to be communicated.About you:â To have a genuine flare and interest in visual merchandising, with a proven track record.â The ability to provide excellent service to both customers and colleagues.â A personal drive, motivation and resilience.â Good analytical, planning and time management skills.â Ability to learn quickly and react in fast moving environments.â Be able to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.â The ability to work on your own initiative, independently or as part of a group.â Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.â Can perform general manual handling duties and tasks, including lifting, carrying, using ladders etcâ Ability to travel to other stores / locations where required.
