Our teachers are fulfilled by making small but meaningful changes in our young people's lives. We celebrate these small victories, which, while seemingly minor, collectively make a significant impact.
Get out what you put in
You'll work with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Your role will involve helping them learn, develop their abilities, and boost their self-esteem. Resilience and dedication are essential, but the rewards of achieving these small victories are immense.
It can be challenging, but the positive progress makes it worthwhile. As a Teacher at Witherslack Group, you'll receive comprehensive support from in-house psychologists, teaching assistants, and therapy professionals. Our colleagues are highly skilled, and our school environments are well-resourced. We will support you every step of the way in building a rewarding teaching career.
One of the best environments in SEND
The transformational impact of Avon Park School is recognized by parents, carers, and professionals. The school's success stems from its ethos of "high expectations and aspirations for every child" and has recently achieved an Outstanding rating by Ofsted.
All staff, including teaching, pastoral, and therapy teams, work collaboratively to ensure each pupil's academic, emotional, and personal development. This whole-school approach helps pupils with ADHD, ASD, Asperger's, or SEMH grow into capable and confident young people eager to succeed.
What we do for you
We believe you'll do great things. In return for your dedication, we offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
