We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creativity and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our clients. This role also involves mentoring junior stylists and assisting with store management duties.
Duties
* Provide a range of hair services including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client needs.
* Perform barbering services as required, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
* Engage with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles and treatments.
* Upsell additional services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to enhance the client experience.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments, managing client records, and handling payments.
* Mentor junior stylists, providing guidance on techniques and customer service best practices.
* Foster strong communication with clients to build lasting relationships and encourage repeat business.
Skills
* Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
* Excellent customer service skills, ensuring every client feels valued and satisfied.
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
* Experience in store management is advantageous, contributing to the smooth operation of the salon.
* Proficiency in barbering techniques is desirable for diverse service offerings.
* Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction.
* Skills in eyelash extensions and makeup application are beneficial but not mandatory.

Pay: £12.21-£42.91 per hour
