Salary: £85 - £95 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role
Outreach Staffing Solutions are seeking compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant's to join our team to support a number of schools across the Cambridge area. This role involves supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to help them access learning, develop independence, and reach their full potential within a positive and inclusive environment.
You will work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to provide tailored support to students with a range of needs, which may include autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with SEN.
* Assist the class teacher in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
* Help create a safe, supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Support pupils with learning activities, communication, and social development.
* Assist with behaviour management strategies where required.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals.
* Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
Requirements
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in schools, care settings, or similar environments) is desirable.
* A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.
* Relevant qualifications such as Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant are desirable but not essential.
