Our international multi-modal freight client are seeking an experienced Transport Planner who has worked with container shipment imports and onward travel.
The fleet is 6 trucks and you'll take responsibility for Transport Planning a proportion of the 120 container onward travel per month. Along with using the owned fleet, there will be the requirement to make use of external providers to ensure smooth delivery for clients.
75% of imports go direct to client / supplier from the Port the rest comes back to the warehouse for breaking up, repacked and then moved onward to final destination.

2. Use of Transport Management Systems (TMS) and planning software.
3. Excel for day to day task management and analysis of volumes
