Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-focused Quality Assurance (QA) Officer to join our healthcare team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all services provided meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance in line with CQC regulations and healthcare governance frameworks.
The ideal candidate will have strong auditing, monitoring, and reporting skills, with the ability to work closely with management and frontline staff to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and maintain effective quality assurance systems across services.
* Conduct regular audits, inspections, and reviews to monitor compliance with CQC, safeguarding, and organisational policies.
* Analyse data and prepare reports on performance, identifying areas for improvement.
* Support services to achieve and maintain Good to Outstanding CQC ratings.
* Investigate complaints, incidents, and non-conformance issues, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
* Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards and best practices.
* Collaborate with managers to develop improvement plans and monitor progress.
* Keep updated with legislation, policy changes, and sector best practices.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and learning.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a quality, compliance, or governance role within healthcare or social care.
* Strong knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and healthcare quality frameworks.
* Excellent auditing, reporting, and data analysis skills.
* Strong communication and influencing abilities.
* High attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and proactive approach.
* Relevant qualification in Health & Social Care, Quality Management, or equivalent (desirable).
