Job Type: Initial 12-Month Maternity Cover with potential to go Permanent - Full-Time hours
Protocol Education is working with a wonderful primary school in Hemel Hempstead seeking a dynamic and creative Year 5 Teacher. The role is to cover a maternity leave initially for 12 months, with the potential to become permanent.
The school is based in the beautiful area of Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, and prides itself on being inclusive with high expectations for students to work hard and achieve their best every day. They support all children, including those with SEN needs, providing an environment where they can flourish and succeed. Year 5 & 6 students are often given leadership responsibilities to support younger peers.

Job Duties:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for Year 5 students
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
* Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop a comprehensive curriculum
* Participate in staff meetings and professional development
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching Year 5 students
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong classroom management abilities
Knowledge and Skills:
* Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
Believes that every student can make outstanding progress regardless of background or need.
Is rigorous, relentless, creative, and inspirational as a leader.
Utilizes various teaching methods to present engaging lessons and CPD sessions.
Is caring, with the drive to develop strong relationships with staff, students, parents, and the community.
