Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Darlington. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years education and supporting young children as they begin their learning journey.
Role Overview:
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide high-quality support within a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. You will help to plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities that encourage children’s development across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Requirements:
✅ Completed a recognised course or qualification covering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
✅ Hold a valid Paediatric First Aid certificate
✅ Previous experience supporting children within an EYFS or early primary setting
✅ A patient, caring, and proactive approach to working with young children
Desirable:
⭐ Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
