Summer hours (1st April – 30th September): Monday to Friday: 08:45 – 20:15 Saturday: 08:45 – 19:15 Sunday: 08:45 – 18:15 Winter hours (1st October – 31st March): 07:45 – 17:15 (7 days a week) Biffa is looking for a HWRC Operative to assist the public at our Blantyre Household waste centre with recycling and waste. Your core responsibilities Working with the public to maximise recycling on sites. Manual handling items on site assisting the public with various waste and recycling. Helping to ensure the site is clean and tidy at all times. Be proactive in promoting and maintaining a safe and friendly working environment. Our essential requirements Experience in dealing with the general public. Good people skills. Experience in the waste industry helpful but not essential. Will be required to work weekends.
