*Introduction:*

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Assist the Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the Children's Home.
* Provide care and support to children and young people with diverse backgrounds and needs, including Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
* Support and guide care staff in delivering high-quality, individualised care.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe and nurturing environment.
* Develop and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with external professionals and families.
* Build positive relationships with children, families, and stakeholders to promote effective communication and partnership.
* Monitor and evaluate service effectiveness, identifying and implementing improvements as needed.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with statutory requirements.

* Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum.

*Candidate Requirements:*
* NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People (or equivalent qualification).
* Previous experience in a similar role within a residential childcare setting.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* A genuine passion for working with children and young people, particularly those with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
* Ability to work effectively within a team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
