If you would like to be involved in these person-centred projects then we have opportunities available for you… We are looking for Personal Assistants to join our established teams to work with the tenants, as part of their shared support, supporting them to feel valued as citizens in society, and empowering them to live the life they choose, allowing them to take risks and make mistakes while ensuring they are safe at all times, then we want to hear from you! As a Personal Assistant, your responsibilities will include: To encourage and enable the people we support to make day-to-day choices and major life decisions, signposting as appropriate, and to develop a positive self-image and maintain good health To support people to develop relationships and support them to navigate the complexities of these To provide the people we support with the agreed necessary support to maximise their independence and to develop social and life skills The successful Personal Assistant will: Have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, service users and a range of stakeholders. Have a caring manner and a tolerant nature Experience within the sector is not essential as we will provide you with the training required to carry out your duties.
