Job Description
We are recruiting for a Management Accountant in Whitstable.
You will be responsible for producing accurate management accounts, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and helping to develop financial systems and processes within a growing organisation.
About the role
* Prepare monthly management accounts including variance analysis and commentary.
* Support the monthly close process ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
* Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
* Analyse financial performance and provide insights to support business decision-making.
* Produce management reports and financial dashboards for senior management.
* Support the Director of Finance in developing financial systems, reporting processes, and internal controls.
* Assist with cash flow forecasting and financial planning.
* Support the preparation of year-end accounts and audit requirements.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
* Work closely with operational teams to provide financial analysis and cost control support.
* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and automation within finance processes.
Requirements
About you
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
* Proven experience preparing management accounts.
* Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
* Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
* Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a finance team.
* You will have the right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available) as well as a full UK driving licence

* Our client will offer you a salary of £50,000
* 37.5 hours per week - Mon to Fri 9am - 5pm
