Job Title: Qualified Social Worker - CLA Team (Locum, Ongoing)
Location: Hull and surrounding areas
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Pay: Up to £35 per hour (dependent on experience)

About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join the Children Looked After (CLA) team on a locum basis, with the opportunity for ongoing work. This is a rewarding role working with vulnerable children in care, helping to safeguard their welfare and support their development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and support children who are looked after by the local authority.
* Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and review cases regularly.
* Work closely with foster carers, residential homes, and partner agencies.
* Attend meetings, court hearings, and contribute to legal processes as needed.
* Provide emotional and practical support to children and families.
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.
Person Specification:
* Qualified Social Worker with HCPC registration.
* Proven experience working with children, particularly in a CLA or child protection setting.
* Strong knowledge of social work legislation and child welfare frameworks.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
