Night Team Leader - Residential & Nursing Care Home
Location: West Byfleet Hours: Full‑time, 38.5 hours Shift Pattern: 3 nights one week / 4 nights the next Pay Rate: £14.00 - £14.50 per hour Qualification Required: NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Night Team Leader to join our well‑established Residential & Nursing Care Home in West Byfleet. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and compassionate leader with strong experience in dementia care, nursing care, and senior care assistant/team leader responsibilities.
You will lead the night team to ensure the highest standards of person‑centred care, safety and wellbeing for all residents.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise the night care team to deliver safe, high‑quality care
* Oversee medication administration in line with policies and regulations
* Support residents with dementia, nursing needs and complex care requirements
* Ensure accurate record‑keeping, care plans and handovers
* Respond to emergencies and elevate concerns appropriately
* Promote dignity, choice and independence for all residents
* Maintain a calm, supportive and professional environment throughout the night
* Work collaboratively with day staff, nurses and management teams
Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
* Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or Team Leader
* Strong background in dementia care and residential/nursing care settings
* Confident in medication administration and leading a team
* Excellent communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills
* Ability to work 38.5 hours on a rolling 3‑night / 4‑night rota
