Your new company We are working in partnership with a dynamic and rapidly expanding national firm of chartered accountants to recruit a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager or Manager. Your new role In this role, you'll take ownership of client portfolios, ensuring that Corporate Tax Returns and Computations are prepared and submitted to HMRC in a timely manner. You'll provide clear and proactive advice to clients regarding their tax liabilities and payment schedules, while also ensuring that all claims and elections are submitted within the required deadlines. Working closely with Partners and Directors, you'll help identify opportunities to reduce tax liabilities and implement effective strategies. You'll also manage work in progress, raise fees upon completion, and maintain strong time management to ensure good recovery rates and accurate client billing. Meeting with prospective clients and offering guidance on their tax affairs will also be part of your remit. What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role, you'll be professionally qualified-ICAS, CTA, or equivalent-and confident in applying your technical expertise to deliver tailored solutions. You'll have a solid understanding of the tax system and key deadlines, and be proactive in keeping up with legislative changes and their impact on clients. You'll be committed to maintaining high technical standards, reviewing work for accuracy, and continuing your professional development through training. When needed, you'll seek advice to ensure risks are managed effectively.
