Cognisant is working with a highly regarded business that is looking to recruit a Finance Manager. The role will report into the Finance Director and ensure the region is providing strong and robust financial controls to achieve the business objectives. Managing a small team, you will ensure the timely and efficient delivery of work within the team’s area of responsibility. This opportunity provides excellent career progression to Finance Director over the medium term.
You will:
* Partner different business units to improve efficiency, forecasting and operations
* Work closely with the Finance Director to establish a highly skilled, highly motivated finance team
* Oversee the regional finance function with accountability for processes & controls
* Deliver accurate and insightful outputs in a timely manner, continuously improving reporting
* Work with the sales teams, understanding sales rates and deliveries
* Take an active role in land appraisals, assessing potential risks
* Provide monthly and quarterly forecasting to a range of departments within the business
This role offers significant exposure across the business, the chance to utilise both finance and commercial skills, and excellent career progression. You will be a part or fully qualified accountant with experience of dealing with people at all levels and the ability to manage and motivate a small team.
