As a Lead Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within CIB Research Technology, you are a key part of the global team responsible for the engineering behind the CIB's award-winning Research organization. You will be a technical leader, creating solutions that transform and evolve our platform to enable analysts to produce engaging and high-quality financial research. Our team manages the flagship JPMM Research Platform along with the Content Creation Platform used for producing Research. We work across various stacks and technologies with broad autonomy. This role will focus on extending our platform across the Markets organization.
Job Responsibilities
* Lead the design and implementation of solutions to extend, enhance, and modernize our platforms.
* Balance hands-on coding with technical and people leadership within a scrum team.
* Collaborate with Product partners to shape and drive the roadmap.
* Coach and grow engineers within the team.
* Ensure the quality, stability, and resiliency of the team's deliveries.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
* Hands-on experience delivering complex solutions at scale.
* Ability to balance technical, people, and product leadership.
* Experience working with multiple stakeholders and tech leads across an organization.
* Expertise in translating product requirements into achievable solutions and plans.
* Excellent communication skills, especially in explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
* Deep expertise in one or more programming languages and system design/architecture.
