As Procurement Lead for Corporate & Professional Services you will work across a variety of service based sub category areas. You will work within a small team of great procurement professionals to implement your category plans and own your sourcing strategies. You will help drive a commercial and cost conscious culture within the business in a partnership focussed and collaborative way.

* Run Category Management, Sourcing and Supplier Management activity, as per our 7-step strategic procurement framework, for Corporate & Professional Services. This rich spend area offers exciting variety working across several indirect, professional and corporate service spend areas. There will be a focus on Real Estate, Facilities, Fleet, Energy, and HR sub categories.
* Put data at the heart of our decision-making, using our system suite tools for Sourcing, Contract Lifecycle Management, Procure to Pay, Project Management, Supplier Performance, Risk, Sustainability, Spend & Savings Analytics.
* Collaborate with many business units and functions to Identify risks and opportunities then set appropriate plans to mitigate and capitalise on them.
Can you bring to the table…
* Good knowledge of category management and supplier relationship management with experience across indirect and professional service categories (doesn’t have to be all of them!). Able to learn and adapt quickly to the different needs and objectives of multiple stakeholder groups.
* Broad understanding of business processes and objectives for great stakeholder empathy, goal-alignment and complex problem solving across broad business areas.
* Influencing and negotiation skills, excited by numerous strategies, tactics and tools, varied and flexed in use for different situations and aims, involving listening and openness to diverse opinions.
* Financial skills for commercial assessments, cost comparisons, savings analysis, cost / benefit calculations and returns on investment ratios.
* A flair for building new and maintaining strong relationships internally and externally, at all levels of the organisation.
* Comfort in communication - verbal, written and aural, adaptable to a variety of audiences (up to and including functional leaders) and situations, using quantitative, qualitative and graphics appropriately.
