Responsibilities
* Assisting the Captains and Head coach in planning and delivering sessions.
* Coaching / bankriding water sessions as required by the head coach. These will mainly be on the Isis but may also be at Godstow on occasion.
* Coaching land sessions at the Boathouse (Boathouse Island) where required.
* Providing clear technical feedback to rowers and coxes.
* Providing advice on race plans for Summer VIIIs.
* Availability during term time to coach sessions (mornings, afternoons, and evenings).
* Ability to work collaboratively with the Head coach and Captains.
* Ability to give focused technical feedback to rowers and coxes.
* Positive, committed, and enthusiastic.
Qualifications & Desirable Criteria
* Previous experience rowing or coaching at a high standard.
* Desirable: familiarity with Oxford college rowing, particularly bumps racing.
* Desirable: previous experience coaching novice rowers.
* Desirable: understanding of / experience coxing.
* Desirable: good understanding of boat rigging and equipment.
* Desirable: RYA2 powerboat licence.
* Consistently responsive to messages.
* Ability to cycle competently whilst coaching / bank riding outings.
