What Youll Be Doing As The Streetworks Coordinator
In this role, youll coordinate all aspects of streetworks activity, ensuring compliance with the New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) 1991 and local regulations. Its a fast-paced environment with a need for clear communication and quick responsesespecially when Traffic Regulation Orders (TTROs) come in with a tight two-hour turnaround.
Streetworks Coordinator Key Responsibilities
* Liaising with local authorities, Highways England, contractors, and internal teams to secure permits and approvals
* Tracking progress on active streetworks and providing regular updates
* Supporting project managers with effective and compliant project plans
* Conducting remote site assessments and resolving logistical challenges
* Maintaining accurate records of permits, notifications, and reports
* Championing health and safety best practices throughout delivery
