Job Description:
We are currently seeking an Admin Officer to join our team in Beckenham. As an Admin Officer, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. Your duties will include handling phone calls, managing correspondence, maintaining filing systems, and updating records. You will also assist in scheduling appointments, preparing reports, and organising meetings.
Job Duties:
1. Answer and direct phone calls
2. Organise and schedule appointments
3. Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
4. Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
5. Develop and maintain a filing system
6. Update and maintain office policies and procedures
7. Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
8. Maintain contact lists
9. Book travel arrangements
10. Submit and reconcile expense reports
Required Qualifications:
11. Proven work experience as an Admin Officer or similar role
12. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
13. Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise work
14. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
15. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent
Experience:
At least 2 years of administrative experience
Knowledge and Skills:
16. Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
17. Excellent organisational and planning skills
18. Proficient in English (written and verbal)
Preferred Qualifications:
19. Additional certification in Office Management is a plus
20. Experience working in the education sector
Working Conditions:
This role is based in an office environment in Beckenham. The Admin Officer will work Full-Time hours on a contract basis with a salary of £90 - £115 Per day, paid through PAYE.
