Production Supervisor £13.20 per hour, Lewes, 2pm-10pm, Permanent, 23 days holiday bank holidays, Generous benefits package The Role We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to lead a late shift team within a growing nutraceutical manufacturing and fulfilment environment. Based in central Lewes, this key role supports the production and packing of premium health supplements into jars and pouches, both manually and using automation. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will ensure accurate, safe, and efficient completion of works orders while maintaining optimal stock levels and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Lead, motivate, and support a small production team on the 2pm-10pm shift Conduct regular 1-to-1s, coaching and developing team members Supervise and coordinate production orders for accuracy and timeliness Monitor KPIs and maintain high standards of quality and output Oversee packing operations using both manual processes and machinery Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations; perform routine checks Promote good storage practices and identify any damaged, expired, or non-conforming stock Maintain accurate stock records and ensure efficient stock flow Implement process improvements and support team training initiatives Uphold regulatory and quality standards such as GMP, HACCP, or FDA equivalents Requirements Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills are highly desirable. Experience working in a clean room environment and knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation are also highly desirable. Familiarity with regulatory standards (GMP, HACCP, FDA or similar), along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, will support success in this role. This role could suit someone who has worked as a Production Team Leader, Manufacturing Supervisor, or Shift Manager.
