Your main responsibilities within this role will be: Lead and manage a dynamic and child-centred Behaviour Team at Toot Hill School Manage and coordinate staffing in the Reset Room Supervising students removed from lessons for behavioural reasons, ensuring a calm, structured, and purposeful learning environment Actively work with students to reflect on their actions, understand behaviour policies and facilitate restorative conversations to support their return to class Managing the behaviour, welfare and academic achievement of our students Work closely with students, parents, carers and staff to remove barriers to learning and progress Work closely with pastoral staff, Heads of Year, and Senior Leaders to enforce school policies and communicate with staff regarding students' needs To analyse data to inform and implement appropriate intervention, mentoring or counselling, ensuring our students respond positively To keep accurate, high-quality records of behaviour incidents, interventions, and student progress at Toot Hill School Have strong, consistent, and firm behaviour management skills, with the ability to de-escalate challenging situations If you are interested in joining a vibrant, engaged and supportive community of teaching experts then please do not hesitate to click here to apply for this position or for further details, including the job description.
