Compass Associates are delighted to be supporting an ambitious and acquisitive dental group in the appointment of a Director of Operations.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a commercially minded operational leader to join a business at a pivotal stage of its growth journey. Backed by significant funding and supported by an experienced Board, the organisation currently operates over 10 dental practices, with additional acquisitions already progressing and a clear strategic objective to double in size over the coming years.
The successful individual will play a critical role in shaping and executing the operational strategy of the group, driving performance, supporting acquisitions, integrating new practices, and ensuring the business is positioned for sustainable growth.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly into the Executive Leadership Team and Board, you will have significant influence over the direction of the organisation and be entrusted with delivering ambitious growth objectives across a multi-site portfolio.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Leading operational performance across a growing network of dental practices
* Driving EBITDA, revenue growth and operational efficiencies
* Supporting acquisition activity, due diligence and post-acquisition integration
* Building and developing high-performing regional and practice leadership teams
* Creating scalable operational infrastructure to support future growth
* Ensuring exceptional patient experience, compliance and clinical support across the estate
* Working closely with shareholders and senior stakeholders to execute the groups strategic vision
* Identifying opportunities for organic growth and commercial optimisation
The Candidate
We are keen to engage with proven operational leaders who have demonstrated success within multi-site healthcare, dentistry, veterinary, optical, pharmacy or comparable consumer healthcare environments.
You will likely bring:
* Significant senior leadership experience across complex multi-site operations
* Strong commercial acumen with full P&L responsibility
* Experience leading businesses through periods of growth, transformation or acquisition
* A track record of improving operational performance and delivering measurable results
* Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at Board level
* Experience managing geographically dispersed teams
* A hands-on leadership style combined with strategic capability
