The Enterprise and Communities service collaborates with various partners to guide this regeneration towards sustainable development, striving to make North Lanarkshire a great place to live, learn, work, invest, and visit.
Within Housing Operations, you will be part of a local housing team based in Wishaw, assisting the Housing Co-ordinator and Senior Retirement Housing Officer in managing retirement housing complexes. You will develop services for residents and the wider community, focusing on safety, wellbeing, housing management, and property maintenance to support tenancies and the environment.
Essential qualifications include an S/NVQ level 2 joint Chartered Institute of Housing Award / Principles of Care Unit or equivalent, along with experience working with the public or in housing services, and liaising with other agencies.
The role requires a proactive, approachable individual who understands older people's community issues and can promote communal and recreational facilities, encouraging participation through organizing social events.
Applicants must become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member through Disclosure Scotland before starting.
Working pattern: Saturday & Sunday 08:00 – 16:30 (16 hours)
