A new full-time post for a Consultant Urological Surgeon with an interest in Complex upper tract cancer and regional retroperitoneal sarcoma work for Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. You will be working alongside an established colleague to deliver this part of our service. The successful candidate will join a team of five established subspecialist urological cancer surgeons covering Nottingham University Hospitals and Sherwood Forest Hospitals. The uro-oncology service in Nottingham extensively covers urological cancer surgery, including open, laparoscopic and robotic techniques. The wider team includes nurse specialists and a clinical scientist. We are looking for a urologist with a proven interest in urological oncology. Sub-specialist experience at consultant or fellowship level is mandatory. It is anticipated that candidates will have a post-graduate degree (awarded or working towards). Commitment to urology should be demonstrated through participation in regional or national meetings, committees or other activities.
