An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Land Buyer to join a leading property developer with a strong pipeline of projects across London and the South East. This is a key role within the business, offering exposure to high-profile urban redevelopment and mixed-use regeneration schemes.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, appraising, and securing residential and mixed-use development opportunities. You will work closely with the senior management and planning teams, driving land acquisition strategies from initial sourcing through to purchase completion.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and appraise potential land opportunities across London and surrounding areas.

Conduct financial feasibility studies and prepare detailed reports for board approval.

Negotiate land purchases and manage offers through to legal completion.
*
Maintain strong relationships with landowners, agents, local authorities, and consultants.

Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and planning policies to inform strategy.

Support the planning process and assist with development appraisals.
About You
*
Proven experience as a Land Buyer (or Assistant Land Buyer ready to step up) within the residential or mixed-use development sector.
*
Strong market knowledge of London and the South East.
*
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
*
Financially astute with strong analytical and commercial awareness.
*
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
