The EA Tooling & Reporting Specialist provides leadership and direction on the implementation, adoption and improvement of the EA toolset liaising with both internal and external stakeholders aiming for enhancing the end-user experience agenda. The role of the Enterprise Architect Tooling Specialist Plays a key role in designing the architecture meta model using EA tools that enables alignment and fully supports the transformation objectives and outcomes at enterprise level. The Enterprise Architect Tooling Specialist plays a core role in the definition of the methodology, models, objects and interactions across Business, Information, Application and Technology The Enterprise Architect Tooling Specialist should also help to execute and govern the strategy, by educating enterprise architects, solution architects and projects to design solutions that are fit for purpose and conform to our standards and patterns. What will you be doing? Build and execute a business case and roadmap for Architecture tools within KPMG, incl. selection, implementation, on-going maintenance and/or decommissioning of legacy tools. Ensure that key stakeholders are aware of the Architecture tools, understand their value and actively engage in data collection and governance activities. Create a detailed picture of KPMG’s technology estate, incl. applications, interfaces, data flows and underlying tech, using taxonomies to segment technologies into relevant domains and sub-domains Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective data utilisation and decision-making. Work closely with the Business Architects to create and/or use business, service and process models, and map these to the tech estate; use these maps to translate between business and tech domains and vice versa, to quickly understand dependencies. Liaise with support, partner, and other stakeholders to identify challenges and develop approaches for solving their issues and to provide roll out and configuration of the tools Project governance What will you need to do it? Expert knowledge of either of these Software AG tools; Alfabet or ARIS (essential) Good knowledge of Business Architecture, incl. business and technology strategies, operating models, process models, business and technology capability models and taxonomies Stakeholder management skills and interpersonal qualities such as building and maintaining relationships, ability to adapt approach and language according to stakeholder need. Experience as a systems admin or supporting key technologies and applications. Good oral and written communication skills. Good interpersonal and leadership skills. Skills we’d love to see/Amazing Extras: Good knowledge and experience of modelling languages, e.g. UML, ArchiMate and BPMN. Knowledge of one or more of these leading EA toolsLeanIX, Planview’s Enterprise One and Atlassian suite including Confluence. Practical knowledge of ServiceNow workflow, and APM and CMDB modules. Qualified in ITIL and TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework). Reasonable knowledge across a broad set of other technology domains, incl. Automation; Data Science & AI; Infrastructure; Security; and DevSecOps. Appreciation of Process Mining techniques.
