Cana Consulting is proud to be partnering an exciting and progressive technology firm in hiring a Senior Legal Counsel. The counsel will be expected to take on managerial responsibilities, be the expert in advising on financial regulatory & payments matters, and take part in strategic discussions. We are open to relocating good talents.
Role:
* Advise on regulated/unregulated financial and payment products, new product launches, and delivery channels.
* Monitor and address emerging global (APAC-focused) regulatory developments.
* Manage a growing team, external counsel, and budgets.
* Partner with senior stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
Requirements
* More than 13 years’ PQE in FinTech, payments, or financial services law, ideally with top-tier law firm and/or major tech company experience.
* Strong knowledge of global payments regulation, especially in APAC. You need to have had experience handling multi jurisdictional work.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
* Resilient, adaptable, and solutions-oriented, with experience in complex, fast-paced environments.
