About the Role
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organised Recruitment Consultant to work within our Supply Chain and Logistics division to join our team, in Newcastle (Gateshead). Our Flagship location will also be re‑relocating due to expansion. We have an expert Business Manager starting December 2025 who will operate and support the consultants we attract.
Responsibilities
* Source and attract high-quality candidates for roles through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events
* Sales/Business Development to prospect clients will be a key part of this role
* Conduct initial interviews and assessments to identify top candidates
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates, providing exceptional customer service
* Manage and update candidate records, ensuring accurate and timely communication
* Meet and exceed monthly recruitment targets
Qualifications
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
* Previous knowledge of recruitment principles and practices very handy (ideally Supply Chain)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn our recruitment software
Required Skills

* Essential - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn our tech stack
Preferred Skills
* Previous experience in recruitment or a related field could be an advantage
* Knowledge of Supply Chain industry trends and developments (temporary workers)
* Professional certifications, such as REC or CIPD, are desirable
