Primary Purpose of the Job
Working with the HR department and specifically supporting the Learning & Development Team, this role will include involvement in a range of learning and development interventions by supporting learning and development activity and managing their own projects.
Main Responsibilities
* Support the co-ordination of L&D activities – including the maintenance of the L&D inbox, Intranet and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting
* Act as a point of contact for all L&D related queries, escalating more complex queries and problems to relevant team members.
* Support annual Compliance Education project by being the go-to person for Learning Management System – ensuring the system is developed in line with requirements.
* Provide administrative and coordination support for full L&D offer and other schemes and programmes as required
* Managing co-ordination of internal in-person and digital induction courses to all new starters within the business.
* Provide administrative and coordination support for delivery of a number of programmes, including Management & Leadership and Reciprocal Partnerships plus any newly introduced programmes as required.
* On-going development and design of the Undergraduate Life-skills programme.
* Maintain the database for all course evaluation sheets and produce monthly statistics and information in line with KPI reporting requirements
* Proactively identify and offer support to process improvements within the department.
* Act as holiday cover for L&D Coordinator for core activities to ensure continuity of L&D activity.
* Support of Learning Management System and other digital platforms.
* Co-ordinate annual Learning at Work Week business wide event

* Employees of VWFS, providing advice and guidance on L&D related matters
* HR Business Partners/Managers and Advisors to co-ordinate programmes
* IT for system interfaces support and changes
* External suppliers – hosting on-site arrivals and workshop co-ordination
Decision Making Scope
The job incumbent can make most general decisions relating to their areas of responsibility. This will include how he/she manages his/her workload, what advice is given to Departments / employees (this advice is usually given as a result of existing guidelines, although some of these guidelines).

* Complex and sometimes confidential information that needs to be analysed and managed with no errors.
* Multilpe projects with competing time-lines
* Gaining technical knowledge and experience of the Learning Management System back-end
Education, Training and Experience
* Studying towards an HR, Psychology or Business related degree.
* Intermediate/Strong excel skills, ability to analyse data to produce KPI’s.

* Able to communicate clearly and confidently with all individuals (delegates, suppliers and internal stakeholders) both verbally and in writing.
* Good organisation skills with the ability to deal with a large variety of tasks in a busy environment.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Use own initiative to answer questions, solve queries and find solutions.
* Intermediate/Strong excel skills, ability to analyse data to produce KPI’s.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Excellent customer service skills.
