Join Anglian Water's Strategic Pipeline Alliance as a Project Planner. The Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) is searching for a Project Planner to support and enhance our project delivery team. What will you be doing as our new Project Planner? As a core member of the SPA Integrated Delivery Team you will be working across multi-disciplinary teams to develop robust planning, and provide reliable and accurate project status. You will work collaboratively with the SPA Project Installation and Assembly Managers (PIAM), Functional Leads, Design, Delivery Managers and Pre-Construction Managers to fully map out the project delivery requirements and how these relate and interact with the SPA delivery programme. As a key member of the SPA Integrated Delivery Team, you will be planning future works and capturing actual progress made on site. You will be liaising with Design Managers, Project Leads and Delivery Managers from all partner organisations and provide a key input into the early notification of any issues which may affect successful project delivery. Key responsibilities: Develop the project schedules required to provide accurate management of design, procurement, and construction through a challenging programme of work in line with SPA and Anglian Water planning policies. Collaboration across multi partner and multi-disciplinary design teams Support the Solutions Engineering and Production teams with innovative ideas around gaining greater efficiencies Engage with PIAM, Design Team, Supply Chain, SPA PMO and wider delivery teams. Produce P6 schedules to SPA and Anglian Water Services standards. Accurate monthly progress reporting of activities to support EVM Assist and enact the management of change in regards of impact on the schedules and progress A little bit about your skills, experience and behaviours: This job might be for you if you are: Able to demonstrate experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams and have a proven track record of developing, owning, and controlling integrated delivery of large-scale civil infrastructure projects. Experienced in planning through all phase of large-scale projects including civil, mechanical, infrastructure and non-infrastructure type work. Proficient in the use of the P6 project and programme management applications, ideally within large-scale project. Able to communicate the planning strategy for a complex programme to the wider team to ensure accuracy of information. Knowledgeable of Project Controls including Earned Value Management and Schedule Risk Analysis Experience of Appraising, co-ordinating and integrating subcontractor and design programmes. Ideally have planning experience with a Main Contractor in the water industry covering large scale infrastructure projects.
