Support people with health conditions into meaningful jobs.
As an Employment Specialist, you'll deliver the IPS model (full training provided) to help clients with mental or physical health needs move into sustainable employment. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday (9-5) outreach role, working in the community and typically covering 1-2 boroughs. Most of your week will be spent face-to-face with clients, employers, and health partners. There may be the odd home working day, but this is not fixed.
Responsibilities
* Support a caseload of clients into employment aligned to their skills and preferences.
* Deliver tailored job search support, CV building, applications, and interview coaching.
* Work closely with health professionals as an embedded IPS practitioner.
* Build relationships with local employers to create job opportunities.
* Provide in-work support to help clients sustain employment.
Qualifications / Experience
* Experience supporting people with health conditions, disabilities, or similar challenges.
* Ability to meet performance targets while keeping client-centred.
* Strong relationship-building skills with employers and clinical partners.
* Experience in a challenging role supporting vulnerable clients to achieve goals, while working to performance targets yourself and managing your own wellbeing.
* Your experience should show that you've achieved and sustained targets in a role over time. Roles across West London boroughs (Barnet, Hillingdon, Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham)
