The opportunity
Role Overview: As an Onshore Wind Health & Safety Specialist, you will promote and manage the implementation of EDF Renewables UK & Ireland's Zero Harm ambitions across the onshore wind portfolio, from development to operations and maintenance. Your focus will be on applying hierarchy of risk control measures during development, construction, operations, and maintenance activities, while learning from incidents.
You will work within a matrix organization, collaborating with H&S colleagues across various business units and the Corporate HSE Team.

Responsibilities:
* Lead by example, setting high HSE standards and providing safety leadership.
* Support a safety-first environment where individuals take ownership.
* Implement and support H&S policies and management systems.
* Represent EDF Renewables at H&S forums and events.
* Ensure compliance with UK & Ireland statutory and legal requirements.
* Contribute to risk management and hazard prevention processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Experience managing health and safety in development and operational environments.
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification.
* Experience in engineering, construction, or wind farms preferred.
* High voltage equipment and switching experience desirable.
* Chartered IOSH member or working towards CMIOSH.
* GWO training/certificates are a plus.
* Ability to work at heights is desirable.
