Early Years Teacher (EYFS Support Role)
Nechells, Birmingham
Start Date: 13th April 2026
Contract: Full-Time | Maternity Cover (Minimum 1 Year)
The Role
You will be working alongside the Reception class teacher, supporting pupils within the EYFS classroom and helping deliver engaging early learning experiences.
No planning or lesson preparation required — allowing you to focus fully on supporting pupils and creating a positive classroom environment.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working within EYFS
A nurturing and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
High expectations for pupil development and progress
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Responsibilities and Qualifications
* Responsibilities: Work alongside the Reception class teacher, support pupils in the EYFS classroom, deliver engaging early learning experiences, and focus on creating a positive classroom environment.
* Qualifications: QTS, experience in EYFS, nurturing and enthusiastic approach, high expectations for pupil development, strong teamwork and communication skills.
