We are recruiting for a Quality Technician to join our Quality Department. We are looking for an enthusiastic person who is willing to learn a new profession and grow into valued member of our team. RESPONSIBLE FOR: Conduct in the goods receiving, in-process & final product inspection of fire alarm control panels and associated equipment. Inspect and test panels, electronic components and systems for quality and functionality as part of RMA process. Identify and troubleshoot system defects and failures. Conduct in basic testing of our product range and equipment. Preparing RMA reports and creating system records. Ensure compliance with company, industry, and regulatory standards. Collaborate with QA teams to implement quality control processes. Assist in developing and implementing quality improvement strategies. Keep up-to-date records of testing and inspection results. Perform in the investigation and rework of product and assembly failures. Input of inspection data into our computer system and reporting inspection results. Support in problem solving and reporting activities. SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & PERSON SPECIFICATION High level soldering skills Electronic knowledge Ability to read circuit diagram Computer literacy Good communication skill Willingness to learn. Previous experience of working in an electronic manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
