Rental Income Manager – Property Sector Location: East Midlands Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 We are looking for a proactive Rental Income Manager to join our growing property business in the East Midlands. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will work closely with our Accounts Department Manager and oversee the rental income department, taking ownership of the relationship and reporting for one of our largest landlords. This is a key role for someone who thrives at the intersection of client service, financial management, and team leadership. What you’ll be doing: Acting as the primary point of contact for one of our biggest landlords, ensuring excellent communication and service delivery. Preparing, presenting, and delivering regular financial and operational reports. Managing and developing the rent collections department, ensuring effective cash collections and debtor management. Liaising with the Accounts Department Manager to ensure smooth financial processes and accurate reporting. Building strong relationships across property, accounts, and operations teams to deliver a seamless client experience. Driving improvements in reporting, collections, and client servicing processes. Attending weekly/monthly meetings, presenting reports to senior teams. What we’re looking for: Experience in client relationship management or account management in the property or real estate sector (or a closely related industry). Strong financial understanding, particularly around credit control, reporting, and financial analysis. Proven ability to manage people, with experience leading or mentoring staff. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — able to influence, negotiate, and build lasting relationships. Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Confident with Excel, reporting tools, and financial systems. Desirable (but not essential): Experience working directly with landlords A finance/accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, AAT, etc.) or equivalent knowledge. Familiarity with property finance, lease management, or investment reporting. What we offer: Competitive salary in the range of £35,000 – £40,000, depending on experience.
