Key Responsibilities: * Operate independently as a mobile worker on responsive maintenance tasks. * Manage daily workload effectively in response to scheduled calls. * Carry out all work safely and to high-quality standards. * Engage with residents to resolve issues or complaints professionally and respectfully. * Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and legal obligations. * Deliver a ‘right first-time fix’ approach to all assigned tasks. * Undertake various trades-related tasks, including: * Tiling * Painting & decorating * Basic plumbing * Basic carpentry * Complete weekly van checks to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness. * Use company-issued tablets in accordance with Synergize policies for job tracking and updates. * Promote the client's ‘families first’ culture in all interactions. * Encourage and maintain a strong health and safety culture, addressing any risks or concerns. Person Specification: * Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset. * Excellent time management and ability to work independently. * Positive, proactive "can-do" attitude. * Professional and courteous customer service skills. Experience & Knowledge: * Proven experience in one or more relevant trades. * Previous experience in a social housing environment is preferred. * Demonstrated ability to meet performance targets and deadlines. Qualifications: * Relevant City & Guilds or NVQ trade qualification(s). * Full, clean UK driving licence. * Ability to pass security clearance checks
