National Centre for Domestic Violence is the UK's largest organisation helping victims of domestic abuse and violence obtain injunctions against their perpetrators. To date we have helped over 100,000 people change their lives forever and we are looking for a dedicated Helpline Advisor who has a passion to help people navigate their way through the legal complexities of Domestic Violence and Abuse.
The position will be based for an initial 4 months in our Guildford offices whilst being fully trained in this position, after you have successfully completed training you will be based from home.
The Role:
As a Helpline Advisor you will be working for the First Steps Team acting as first point of contact for victims, your role will be to help determine if the caller will need an emergency civil injunction or deciding the appropriate action for gaining the right support for our client.
About You:
* Experience of working in a customer based environment
* Patient and compassionate with good listening skills
* Good written, numeric and computer literacy skills
* To be able to conduct calls swiftly and efficiently
All calls are outbound only and this role will be dealing with very sensitive clients and information, complete discretion, empathy and patience is needed for this position.
No experience is necessary as full training will be given.
