Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of our financial processes and will require proficiency in various accounting software.
Duties
* Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Process accounts payable, including verifying invoices and preparing payments.
* Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
* Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
* Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
* Assist in the implementation of new accounting systems or software as required.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role for a minimum of 5 years.
* Must be fluent in English.
* Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial regulations.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Strong numerical skills with a high level of accuracy in data entry.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with team members and external stakeholders.
