Job Description
The EU Econometrics team helps Sky make smarter marketing decisions by measuring the true impact of media and broader commercial drivers on business performance. Sitting within Consumer Strategy, we are at the heart of the business, working across all product areas to inform key decisions. Using advanced analytics and econometric modelling, we quantify what drives sales, optimise media investment and shape campaign and strategic planning, turning complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that maximise return on every pound invested.
What You’ll Do
* Lead the delivery of econometric projects for Sky Germany, aligned to key business priorities
* Convert model outputs into actionable insight to drive value for Sky Germany
* Engage with stakeholders across Sky Germany to support the integration of findings in business decisions
* Collaborate with wider Consumer Strategy colleagues to champion the reputation of the department across Sky
* Lead the development of new techniques, tools and processes to improve efficiency and scope, incorporating the latest industry thinking to keep the team cutting edge
What You’ll Bring
* A numerate degree such as Economics, Econometrics, Maths or Statistics.
* Clear understanding of the relevant tool sets to build econometric models, and advanced use of Excel and Python to process data and optimise scenarios based on model parameters.
* A passion for using advanced statistical techniques to convert observable data into actionable recommendations.
* Proven experience of delivering econometric modelling specifically to make recommendations that inform Media Planning and Marketing Strategy.
* Proven understanding of scenario and optimisation methodology and tools – inputs, functions, outputs and user models.
* Self‑motivated, enthusiastic attitude and adaptability to work in a fast‑paced and dynamic commercial context.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills – articulate, positive communicator with experience delivering results to impact commercial decision‑making.
* Excellent organisational and time‑management skills: ability to multitask and prioritise workload.

How You’ll Work
Hybrid working approach: 2–3 days in the office per week, with flexibility on where and how we work.
Your Office Base
Our Sky Group HQ in Osterley Campus, equipped with state‑of‑the‑art technology and workspaces, free gym, cinema, car wash, beauty salon, subsidised restaurants and cafes, and free onsite parking. It is a 10‑minute walk from Syon Lane train station and served by shuttle buses from Osterley, Gunnersbury and Ealing Broadway stations.
