Our client is a well-established and successful manufacture, they are looking for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair their manufacturing machinery. They are looking for someone with experience in both Electrical and Mechanical maintenance. Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, Days and Nights (12 hour shifts: 5.30am – 5.30pm / 5.30pm – 5.30am) Salary: £46,548 including shift allowance (£43,246 basic £3,301 shift allowance) Location: Hazlehead near Penistone (S36) Multi Skilled Engineer Responsibilities: * To operate in line with all company H&S standards and embrace and contribute to the * company ISRS Safety Programme * Implement and adhere to safe working practices in accordance with legislation * To advise and assist the Production Team to ensure that all products are made to the highest possible yield and product quality standards * To ensure that the efficiency of the process is maintained at all times * To undertake electrical and mechanical engineering activities and assist in planned and unplanned work. * To participate in all training programs including the training of others * Drive continuous improvement across site * Be involved with project work as and when required * Accompany contractors to facilitate work Requirements: * NVQ Level 3 in Engineering, or an ONC Electrical qualification, or HNC Electrical qualification * A time served multi-skilled Electrical Engineer with a strong technical and electrical knowledge * Process the ability to work with pneumatic controls and read electrical and pneumatic schematic drawings.
