Role: Trainee/Assistant Psychologist Salary : £225-£275 per day (depending on experience) Location : Bases across Newcastle/Gateshead Job Type: Children and Young People, Talking Therapies Shifts : 1-2 days per week intially, view to increase. About the Role: As a Psychologist, you will assess, diagnose, and deliver evidence-based interventions for individuals experiencing a wide range of psychological and behavioural difficulties. You will support both short-term and long-term recovery while contributing to service development and research. This is a new client looking to build and grow with employees, so progression is available within the business. Key responsibilities include: * Assessment: Conduct detailed psychological and cognitive assessments. * Treatment : Deliver evidence-based therapies such as CBT, ACT, or trauma-focused interventions. * Risk Management: Identify and manage potential risks to patients' wellbeing. * Documentation : Maintain detailed clinical notes in compliance with HCPC standards. Who We Are Looking For: * Education : Qualification in Psychology or similar background. * Licenses : Ideally registered with the British Psychological Society. * Skills : - Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills. - Analytical, research, and problem-solving ability. - Excellent communication and resilience. * Collaborative Mindset: A skilled professional who thrives in a multidisciplinary environment.
