About the Role

Working with Chief investigator of the SCRATCH-HTN Study, and together with the CVCTU team to lead on the day-to-day management of ongoing SCRATCH-HTN study .

About You

We require the successful candidate to have a degree in a biomedical science or associated subject, or proven experience in clinical research and current good Clinical practice qualification. We are looking for previous experience of all aspects of clinical research, including coordination, administration, monitoring and data management. The successful candidate will have significant experience in the coordination of MHRA regulated clinical trials involving Investigational Medicinal Products and experience of writing and reviewing study documents including protocols, SOPs, patient information documents and study manuals. Experience in device trials and use of CASTOR electronic database would be desirable.

About the Institute/Project

The Cardiovascular Clinical Trials Unit (CVCTU) focuses on providing support to deliver clinical trials and research related to cardiovascular and metabolic health. This center is the product of the coming together of two organisations: Barts Heart Centre and the WHRI. The CVCTU is the fifth branch of the UKCRC accredited Barts CTU (ID:4).
